The certified commercial investment member (CCIM) designation, held by Principal Wayne Thompson, expands client services for energy studies, by means of a detailed discounted cash flow analysis (DCFA). The end product of any energy study is an analysis of the capital cost to install energy efficient systems compared to projected energy savings from implementation of recommended upgrades. Typically, an Engineer calculates  “Simple Payback”… helpful, but not precise enough to make an informed investment decision. So, the Owner takes the study results to a financial analyst, who performs a DCFA. Thompson Design has the ability to perform both energy studies and DCFA.
