Lender and Peer Plan Reviews
Plan reviews are performed for several reasons. Design documents may be reviewed for a lender prior to commencement of construction as part of due diligence for a new project. The primary purpose is to identify potential coordination problems before construction begins, and also to comment on potential code violations. Plan reviews can also be initiated by the Owner or Architect as part of a “Peer Review” of the design of the project’s Engineer-of-Record.
